    in answer to your original question, Yorkshire Building society gave me..... a discharged bankrupt a savings account when my own bank would not.

    You will need to ask them BEFORE they process an application for you to open an account then.


    It's a clever reply you made - why does it bother you so much about credit checks?
    Wouldn't bother me but then I have nothing to hide.

    A very weak argument. In that case please let us know your personal details - post them here; name, address, DoB, salary, details of assets, etc, etc, etc.
