The buyers contacted me this evening that their solicitor still would like the pack. So ordering it tomorrow morning. It's been 10 weeks since the offer was accepted. However, to date my buyer, or my solicitor or estate agent are not aware of how many people are there in the lower chain. My estate agent only knows from my buyers estate agent that the lower chain is apparently complete. I am just worried that I pay this money, and then somebody discovers problems in lower chain. I have to join a new job from 6th August in Norfolk, hence moving out. Would end up paying both rent and mortgage, and also risk losing out on an house I am in the process of buying, and the money I have spent in survey and searches on the prospective buy, which are all complete. Very worried.

The buyers have also to pay upwards of 170£ to the management company, for the compliance certificate, and transfer of deeds of covenants. All this for a freehold property! Hence I am not even considering asking them to pay.
