No, the poster above me suggested that....you quoted the wrong post. Are you trying to cook it :eek:Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -
It's not the water that kills it, but the trace elements left behind when it dries-out. The Reviveaphone kit was featured on 'Dragons Den' and works by dissolving the trace elements which would otherwise allow the electrical current flow where it shouldn't.Never Knowingly Understood.

I put my mobile in some rice as advised and it has dried out and now is fully functional so thanks for that tip.
The problem is I now find that I cannot charge it up. The charger will not connect properly.
Any ideas anyone......
Thanks again for all your help so far.0 -
Pick the rice out of the charger port. It may help to soak the phone in water for a few hours to soften the rice.0

^ I see what you did there :P
If the port isn't blocked then you need to see why the charger won't connect in. Are any of the port areas bent?
If the charger connects but doesn't charge, try giving the battery terminals a clean but it doesn't look good.
Also, stop using it as when that battery is gone, it's gone. You could try getting a new battery but it's likely to be the unit.0 -

And then cook on gas mark 4 for a few hours to create a delicious mobile rice pudding! No free lunch, and no free laptop

This is meant to work well

I wonder what that is. I'd put money on that it's nothing more than ordinary distilled water.0 -
