things to do around Windsor?

We are going to legoland and staying over the night.

We will have a day in the area before the legoland visit the next day.

Can anyone recommend anything to do/see.

The most obvious is Windsor castle, I would like to go, but who I am going with wont so that is out I am afraid :(

Any other suggests, we will have a seven year old with us.

Thanks

  • You can walk along the river or go for a trip on a boat. There are open top sight seeing buses. There is also a horse drawn cart tour. Windsor Great Park is pleasant for a walk and a picnic. The Park also contains Savill Gardens. Runnymede has pleasant meadows by the river and views across London from the Airforce Memorial.
