How do you go about connecting two computers to the same BT line.
One is upstairs and the other one downstairs.

I have two connected, one on ethernet and one on usb, both from the same router, as yours are far apart then I think you will need to look at a wireless router centrally located in the houseAlways on the hunt for a bargain0

Wireless router would be one option, wired router with a very long ethernet cable run would be another. Are you restricted in how much you want to spend?0

That was quick.
I don't think its going to be possible to run wires from one to the other, so I assume its the wireless way.
Don't want to over spend as its only temporary0 -
What BT hub have you got and are both computers desktop?0

When you say line do you mean dial up or broadband?0

Its a D Link modem. Both computers are desktop and its a BB connection I'm after.0

Wireless adsl router and a wireless card/ adaptor in the PC away from the DLink is what is needed.0
