    I have a 1996 CBR600 and a Fireblade, I've had the 600 over 16 years.

I would get a can of Bradex Easy Start, make sure the battery is fully charged, squirt some in the air intake, then persevere with trying to start it on the button. It'll start eventually. Then go for a blast up a motorway or something.

    CBR600s are bulletproof.

I might have a look at the tyres first but apart from that what Dave said.

You need to remove the tail fairing, seat, fuel tank, and airbox before you can even see the carbs.

All he needs to see is the very bottom, not the tops. You couldn't get to the drain screws from the top anyway. The tank, airbox, seat and tailpiece can stay on. Taking the fairing side panels off will allow access to the drain screws.

They are in a downdraught arrangement, you can't see the float bowls from the side and to access the drain screws properly you need the carbs off the bike.
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it

Drain/ syphon what you can out of the tank, add fresh fuel and some Profi fuel max carb cleaner. Then give it a run, or do your best standing in the shed...

It is one of the only 2 magic fluids that I have ever bought (in over 50 years) that actually do what they claim. (The other is fabreeze)
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
