I got over £8 validated via quidco. :j
Hope that helps.

I have a C521, with AMD 64 X2 dual core 4200+ processor, 128mb ATI graphics card, 1Gb of ram, 160gb hard disk, DVD writer and memory card reader. It set me back £240 (no monitor) and £40ish for delivery 3 months ago
Really, who's gonna bother to upgrade a PC that is this price? I can put in new ram, a new disk drive; so what's the problem? It's really quiet and a great performer, even runs games pretty well0 -
Ordered mine (XP version) on the 16th. Got an email from Dell yesterday telling me I've got to wait till the 16th August for delivery!!

Bummer - I go on holiday for 2 weeks on the 15th!!0 -

1) is this easy to set up once recieved, ie internet connection. (will be replacing a computer already connected to internet).
2) Could the tower be laid on its side (space reasons)
Thanks
WARNING: NO these cant be laid on their side!!!
While the computer will work - the cd drive will not!
I laid mine on the side to work inside and put the windows disk in. It scratched it to an unusable condition within seconds. Fortunately dell replaced the disk for petence - but had it been my office disk I'd have been screwed! Be warned.
Obviously you can still by an external cd drive - or just not use this one.
Hope this helpsThere is no intelligent life out there ... ask any goldfish!0
