Could someone advise me how long a search will stay on my credit report for?
my noodle account says that I am 3/5 credit rating which is good but I applied for 2 c cards last month and both did not get accepted.
I want to apply for another one as my balance transfer rating is going uo soon but I am worried if I do apply for 1 more in such a short space of time its going to affect my score and be declined..
any help would be great
thank you Emma

Credit application searches stay on your files for 1 year. But after a few months will have no impact on your ability to get credit.
People are generally advised to make no more than 3-4 credit applications in any 6 month period.
Do you know why you were declined for the previous 2 applications? have you tried using the MSE eligibility checker to give you an indication as to how likely you are to be accepted before you make a third application?
