Help with gmail please?

For the past year I have been happily using gmail with no problems.Suddenly last month I have not been able to discard any unwanted mail or worse send replies to emails[they are just sent to drafts when I try and send them}.
Before I used to tick the boxes to discard and they would turn yellow and I would get rid of them..now when i press the discard /send signs nothing happens.Does anyone know why?

No idea... sounds very strange - I'd get in contact with google and see what they say.0

Maybe it needs updating or try uninstalling then reinstall it. Surprising how many problems that sorts out.

Try accessing it from another computer to establish whether the fault is in the GMail account itself or your own PC.0

Also try a different browser. Clearing your internet history, cache, cookies etc may help too.
