Ive surfed the net for the last week trying to id this plant. Ive now given up esp as I know you love a challenge

Im new here, cant figure how to attach a pic - grrrr

Anyhow, the flowers looks like a yarrow but leaves are differenr. Ive got r different plants.

Purple flat flower with a white dot in d middle.
Red with white dot.
All whit flowerL

I know they are prennials
I kniw the name starts with a and has a z in it
They are as tall as a sky remote
The flower is at d top onle. Consist of a cluster of flowers, they are flat.

Any ideas?

The flowers sound like achillea but I think the leaves would look the same as yarrow. And there's no z. How tall is a sky remote?

Just got a rluer a measured it. 20cm
Just googled achilea - same structure. Leaves are different and the white bit on the flower is not anotger bit. The flower petal cahnges colour. Ine petal of yhe flower looks like the flowers on a lobeliavtrailing plant.

I thought the name was something like aztec. But I cant find a similar name that exist.

There's a verbena called Aztec, could it be that?
