DLA appeal 3 weeks ago i call today DLA helpline but they said they cant see ayting

hi please can you help me i win DLA 3 weeks ago after long fight 2 & half years i call DLA helpline lady said she cant get my file she cant tell me anyting .please can you tell me what i need to do i am so worrid whats hapening how i get my backdate i give my NI number but she cant see anyting .thank you

My OH's file is a "clerical file" so it never shows up on their computer system. I'm guessing clerical means its manually stored away somewhere?

Maybe ask if its clerical next time you phone.

it might be that your file is being dealt with on paper / being looked at / in a queue to be dealt with so it possibly be temporary moved to unavailable when the operator logs in with your number.

I know its no help but from your post, I take it you had a decision over-turned in your favour - and yes your wanting to know when there going to pay out.

It could take a couple more weeks to go through, as there seems to be backlogs in all the systems - if it was me, once 4 weeks had elasped I would ring weekly, - then after 12 weeks if I was still waiting, I'd contact my local MP to ask for their assistance, xx

After 4 weeks today one nice lady call me she said she can't access my DLA details. & she give me her fax number & her personal phone number .she told me I need to fax to her tribunal copy. Now I send to her .after I sent I call her she told me she received my fax she will short it out ASAP .I hope I got my money ASAP thanks for all your help

I need help because I phone today again direct DLA number lady say to she can't se my details .I told her last week one lady call me I need to fax her court paper & I did after fax I call her make sure she received my fax same lady told me she got it my fax & she will short it out ASAP. I call this number today again pick up another lady she told me she can't see anything & she request me to send court paper again .& I did sent fax again today .after I sent fax I call her again she said she got it my fax she will short it out ASAP & she asked my bank details .& she asked did I go aboard or did I stay hospital . Please help me what's gonna happen next do i need to do anything .I am thinking I call again coming Monday.

They need to know your bank details to pay you - and if you went into hospital or abroad to see if you were not entitled for any period.
Usually this information is taken by a form sent to you, and shortly after you return it, the payment happens.
