Hello fellow board members,
Last week my car was driven to my local Lidl by an unnamed driver.
After shopping in Lidl with friends, the car refused to start.
The duty manager was informed that it had broken down and would be removed as soon as I returned home from work at tea time, and he said it would be fine.
The friends that were shopping with the unnamed driver then caught a train to London and flew on holiday to America, they have the receipts from Lidl in their possession.
Upon returning home from work, I promptly went with the unnamed driver to retrieve my car.
As it wouldn't start, I towed it home using my work van and repaired it at home.
The 2nd photo on the charge notice shows my van in front of my car, that is because I am towing my car with my van although the tow strap cannot be seen.
As expected, I received a charge through the post from Athena.
They seem to think that someone who lives less than 1 mile from the store would park for 10 hours without a valid reason, idiots.
I copied the template from the newbies stickies, and emailed it to John Wayne, sorry, I mean Athena.
I also emailed ronny gottschlitch and received this reply today
Dear Mr

As yet there is no reply from Clint Eastwood and friends, sorry, I mean Athena and staff.
We sit patiently waiting for the next letter.
Have I done things correctly? and if so do I now just ignore it all from now on?
