I have just saved £76.57 on my renewal quote ,however the company required me to agree to automatic renewal .SO MY QUESTION IS ,why is it necessary to have this also I was told that if any details were changed on the card I used that these would be given to said company . is this a legal requirement in law or are companies pulling the wool over my eyes .................confused .
I am aware that I MAY CANCELL MY DIRECT DEBIT WITH MY BANK ,HOWEVER HOW COULD A COMPANY PRESENT A DEMAND TO MY BANK WHEN I HAVE NOT AUTHORISED THE TRANSACTION ???????

Its necessary because they hope you dont bother reading the renewal paperwork and spot any price increase.
There is no legal requirement. But if your the sort that forget when to cancel the renewal and forgets your renewal date its a good thing. Only takes a phone call or letter to cancel it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
