From your screenshot it has a Celeron 1.6 GHz and 1GB of RAM.
I would look at binning it and getting a replacement to be honest.0 -

1.2GHz Celeron with 512MB RAM on the machine that I am writing this on, runs just fine and dandy0 -

Now that's pushing it.But if you've everything trimmed down and running efficiently...
Otherwise, RAM is not expensive.0 -

Each to their own I suppose, but a machine like that is never going to be fast and will always be a chore to use. I suppose it depends how much patience you have.
I suppose you could mess about using nlite to strip down Windows to a bare minimum and it might just about be bearable, or one of those low resource Linux distros.
My own machine is a 6 year old Core 2 Duo 2.1GHz with 4GB of RAM and is at the stage where I am looking to replace it. I can't imagine how horrendous the OP's machine must be to use.0 -

Sadly maxed out the RAM that the MOBO will take, and it is only PC133 running @ 100MHz FSB, but 30 second boot time to a working desktop and commit charge at idle of 100MB it is as good as I can get it. All bloat removed, all drivers updated and pagefile on a seperate drive seems to keep this vintage machine in daily use
Certainly not a "chore" to use.0 -

Similar specs to my PC. Though mine has just 2GB of RAM and dedicated graphics.
I don't have a problem in buying new, but these machines just keep on going and doing it in a timely fashion.0 -
