Parking Charge Appeals Response

Hi I am new to this forum but I have read with interest after receiving a Parking Charge Notification through the post, I must say out of the blue and totally unexpected.
I have taken the advice on this site and appealed using a template available on this site, many thanks.
However despite UKCPS sending the notice within 2 days and my response within the week I haven't yet had a response for over 2 weeks now.
Is there a limit for UKCPS to respond or is this an open ended process?
I thought that for interest the car park allegedly has charged people who have parked there but not visited the shops in the area, despite not contravening the duration. I found this out on a town website apparently causing some bad feeling locally.

It can take them 35 days to get a response back to you. In the meantime, start getting your POPLA appeal ready - it's odds on that they'll reject your appeal.0
