It can take them some time due to when the tribunal send their information off to the DWP.

    Total for 2012/13 was £74.60/week
    2013/14 was £76.25/week
    2014/15 £78.30/week.
You'll have to look up claim date & go from there.
  • Try contacting the appeals court you won at. Also, it took nrly 3 mths for my friend to get her DLA appeal to actually filter through to the backpayment coming through.

Hi acaium. Did you seek advice from CAB? They can usually collect all the paperwork and at times go with you when the appeal is being heard. I take it that the DLA was stopped more or less straight away. 2 years is a long time to wait for the appeal to be heard. There again they are a law unto themselves and will drag their heels when it comes to paying out money due. Were you claiming DLA for quite a while before this happened? It might be a good idea to get in touch with CAB. I don't know if you have a car but there is an organization that I am with and it is called Disabled Motorist Association and run by a Dr. Gasson and he is a force to be reconed with . I assure you. He would have this all sorted with in no time. But unfortunately you only hear about these organization afterwards. It is cold comfort but if the care part is now at the higher rate you can apply for a blue badge . I am sorry that I can't be much help but you need to get real advice and support behind you or this could go on and on. I will ask around and if I find out about another organization, I will certainly get back to you.

Not you can't. It's only high mobility that entitles you to a blue badge.
