Stay away from pyramid schemes. Especially if the guy's name is Rameses and he talks in pictures.

I like the way they walk though... ;)

If someone says you can earn money for doing nothing, then laugh in their face as thats complete bull.
You will give them more money thn you will ever 'earn' through them.

I earn money for doing nothing, but thats because I work in Local Government.

    Any other reason - avoid.

... holes began to emerge when she mentioned things such as that the company was being endorsed by Donald Trump (with such a bad record on money, businesses & investments) and BT which has the most expensive monthly plans for landline & broadband.
It's not dodgy because of your opinion of those two business - it's a scam because they wouldn't associate with such nonsense and is obviously a lie.

Of course it's a scam - The only people who would be taken in by it are those who are blinded to the obvious nonsense by the £ signs flashing in front of their eyes.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

After a quick research on Youtube about ACN most of them are saying that its really a legit company which sells these IT products but because of how they sell it and how you can earn money it reeks of scam.

Who would buy into their gadgets like a VOIP box that is tied up to a tablet to call internationally "for free" like a local UK number they say? You can install Skype or Hangouts or Whatsapp for free. There are dozens of well-known international calling plans that are cheap as chips nowadays. And also the person was asking me for my £349 money after the 7-day test drive period. The company is actually asking for $499 which translates to under £300.

I will definitely contact my bank about this and will tell them to stop or "block" any attempt by ACN to deduct money from me.

I have also contacted the person by yet and told her to delete all my details (including my bank details) and if they have taken money from account will result me to contact the authorities.

Remember, a lot of 'distributors' who have been recruited and are paying membership fees have a strong vested interest in representing how wonderful a scheme is, even if they're losing money.

There's a great pdf you might find with a little online searching 'Merchants of Deception' by Eric something. He was with AmWay (who to all intents and purposes are also a legit business, loads of accolades online, etc) at a high-up level, yet still broke, and finally blew the lid on the whole affair. It's fascinating reading. This is how MLM's work - you're always just about to break the bigtime if you only do one little bit more...

Isn't it illegal in the UK to promote a pyramid scheme (or is the law, as usual, worded as "knowingly promote")?

It is illegal to have pretty much any involvement in a pyramid scheme in the uk. The following is a banned practice under the Consumer Protection From Unfair Trading Regulations:

'Establishing, operating or promoting a pyramid promotional scheme where a consumer gives consideration for the opportunity to receive compensation that is derived primarily from the introduction of other consumers into the scheme rather than from the sale or consumption of products.'
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

Tried contacting the person and i asked her to "delete all of my information in regards to my ACN application".

Surprise...surprise she didn't reply. But as you guys said i will contact my bank to cancel or delete or block anything from entities pertaining to ACN so i don't hear from them anymore.
