Hi

I have a debt on a credit card of about £4000 currently at 0% until 01-09-14, i just cleared (2 days ago) my debt on my post office credit card (which was also at 0%), i was wondering if i should close this empty card straightaway and if that would put me in good stead next month for applying for a BT credit card or if I should hang on to it incase they offer something now the card is clear (they have one of the best offer for new customers unfortunately). Would having this empty card affect my application for another lender? (I have another card I use and clear off in full each month- this card has a huge limit 10K).

many thanks
