Barclaycard PPI Reclaim problem

Help!
I have a Barclaycard which is in fact over its credit limit because I think they apply charges greater than the minimum payment. It currently stands at a debt of £10,600 whereas my credit limit is £10,000. In order to try and reduce this I submitted a PPI claim which was rejected. I subsequently spoke with a customer 'helpline' representative who was only interested in telling me that it is entirely mt own fault that the debt is so high (guess what, I know) and that I had agreed to PPI so no recompense was due. This got me no further so I did ask for a copy of the PPI agreement and was eventually sent an extremely small piece of paper showing that I had ticked a box stating I wanted PPI.
Can anyone advise if I can fight this anymore or on my next move. I have online banking but can't see the statement details for some reason, it appears to me that they are doing all they can to be obstructive and not help at all.

As far as the Bank is concerned, you've now had a "full and final" response to your concerns. There was little point asking the Bank for your agreement AFTER your complaint was rejected. If you wanted them to review their decision, you would have had to present them with new and compelling evidence that was not in your original complaint.Badger2849 wrote: »I submitted a PPI claim which was rejected.
The next stage of your complaint is to refer it to the Ombudsman. There is no guarantee of success and nobody here can predict the outcome because you've given no details of what reasons you gave for complaining the PPI was mis-sold to you.
As this process can take upwards of eighteen months, you'll have to make other plans to start paying off some of your massive debt. The interest building up monthly must be huge.
