Any ideas whats wrong with this roof? Its water tight inside. Cant seem to work out whats happened.
The answer of course is to have someone come out and have a look but that's probably not in the immediate funding.

I would suggest the one to get along with any professional roofer or someone who can treat you with the utmost reliable answer of all your queries.0

I think you better start saving if it isn't in the budget. Sorry.
Looks like the roof deck timber, likely OSB or chipboard has got wet and swelled/distorted.
Given that much damage without leaking is unusual to say the least, trouble won't be far away.
It very much looks like made up felt roofing so given a max expected lifespan it could be due for total replacement rater than patching, do you know how old it is?
Do the neighbours have any issues?, looks like it make be lifting at the junction between your 2 properties, which is why I mentioned them, it maybe the whole pair that have an issue.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Hard to tell from a photo but that would seem to be an extraordinary amount of lifting if it were down to swelling of the roof structure.
It might be that the wind has got under the felt and raised it.
The roof pitch seems quite steep ; is it too steep to safely allow climbing out of the window and standing on the tiles to inspect at close quarters?Forgotten but not gone.0 -
Thats one property, next door is white.
It's too steep to stand. Access from the side of the house then climb over.
The answer is...seek advice from a roofer I guess0 -

I know, the other dodgy bit is where the white bit starts, right at the edge of your photo
What I find strange is why is the whole house in two tone? The fasia, the cladding and the tiles on the roof below the dormer all show a vertical change directly below the dodgy bit. And that strange dark staining below the roof lift?
It needs looking atI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

I suspect that the area is where the extension of the property has been carried out. The facia is joined here.
Tiles ~ There are spare tiles in the garage, I suspect they were kept from when the house was extended. As when this was, we have no idea.
Sorry.
We are going to instruct a roofer to go have a look, the cost is <£100.0 -

So that means there is also a join in the roofing sheets at the point where it's lifted, I think it's gone on that joint?
But like alot of other questions asked, the only real answer is take a look or get some one in to do that. I'd be interested to know the outcome.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Tasked a roofer with a report on the 18th July. Had no contact with them since, must be busy or something which is good.
They are going around tonight, so hopefully an update later today.0 -
