Providers with a good online interface

Hi, I'm about to transfer a balance from a barclaycard to a new 0% card, and wondered which of the longer term providers offers a decent online experience.
I find the barclaycard interface to be pretty good (compared to e.g. RBS which is terrible). I like the fact that DDs can be set up and modified easily, you can see transactions (relatively) immediately, the 0% balance is clearly differentiated from additional balance and you can get a log of your activity online.
Are other providers just as good (or better)? Thanks.

I like MBNA's. It seems fast and almost always available (I'm often in different time zones and sometimes on slow connections). If you've taken up BT offers, you can see very clearly how your balance is composed - ie it shows how much balance remains for each offer and the offer details. I pay manually and it neatly remembers debit card details so it's very easy to make a payment (others do this too). You can get true copies of paper statements in PDF format. Also logging in is relatively easy. Some seem to be overboard with different passwords/codes etc.
Post Office Mastercard must be the worst....0 -
Make your life easier and don't over-complicate simple things.
Select the longest 0% with the lowest fee.
Transfer the balance, set the DD and forget about it, so that the interface is of no importance.
If needed, make extra payments from your current account.
Use the old card for spending, pay balance in full and enjoy 50 days interest free or get a new card with 0% on purchases.
As simple as that.0 -

I think you still need to check statements for fraud and other kinds of error. This is less of a chore if access is easier.
How many times have we had threads from people who set up a DD and months later found that there had been a long running problem? Eg the DD wasn't in fact set up properly, a payment was missed (DD bounce or whatever) etc etc.0 -
One certainly doesn't need a 'good interface' for checking the balance sometimes.
The DD is clearly visible in the current account online banking.0 -
I'd rate Santander's online access as very poor.
- I can't see when my 0% on purchases will end.
- I can't see which transactions are getting cashback and at what rate.
- I can't stop paper statements or download PDF statements
- Every transaction description starts with "PURCHASE - DOMESTIC" rather than the name of the retailer.
Are you listening, Santander?0
