UK CPS Ltd PARKING TICKET HELP

I have just been issued with a parking ticket by UK CPS Ltd in St Helens ravenhead Retail park, the ticket states that the vehicle was not in a marked bay, it was but it may have been over one of the white lines, is this a valid fine and do i have to pay it, I have been onto various forums and it seems the rules have changed recently re these fines, I have seen it advising people not to pay them, but I really need the know where I stand on this

first task is stop using the word fine, it wont say fine on any paperwork

its a pcn , an INVOICE , but that doesnt mean you have to pay it , you query it , by appeal

yes they can issue these pcn,s , so please read the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of this forum as you appear to have totally missed it in your haste to post

having digested the NEWBIES thread, post back if you need further help

ps:- the rules changed in oct 2012 and the advice changed in feb 2013 , so not that recent !

pps:- read this similar one too https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5017764 , plenty of good advice in there

Read the top sticky thread then - that's why it's at the top saying 'read this first!' :)

If you aren't used to forums and don't know where to click to 'hop' to page one and to see the top thread, see my signature below as I tell people where to click.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • I'm a lorry driver. Whilst on a "Legal" Tacograph break today I had 2 blokes issue me with a parking ticket from UK CPS Ltd. I asked for identification. Refused and showed me his Tee shirt. I was parked on disused property. I'd only been parked 10 minutes out of my 45 mins. I have informed my company. Do I ignore these rude. Bullying, abusive parking attendants. Do I ignore it. Or seek police advice. Your help please. 👍

just read the NEWBIES sticky thread, appeal it, plus please start your own thread using the NEW THREAD BUTTON if you need further help

why ? because its one member , one topic, each member gets their own bespoke replies, especially as the advice may differ (plus you agreed to these rules on signing up here)

as its private land , its nothing to do with the police, its a civil matter
