Hi,
might need to do a 'no win no fee' after a fall on badly maintained council land. any-one used a company like this successfully? heard loads of stories about how bad some of them are, but first-hand experience would be great. all help gratefully received!

Go to a solicitor firm, not an accident management type company.
Check on your household insurance for any legal cover which may avoid you losing any % of your compensation0 -
Most solicitors who cover personal injury do so on a Conditional Fee basis. Contact a local solicitor - they will generally provide a better service than an anonymous claims firm, and you will be able to meet them face to face to discuss your options and to make sure you understand your options.
As Onan says, check whether you have legal cover, but be aware that if you do, they may refer you to their preferred company which may not necessarily be the best one for you.All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0
