I can't believe Lenders actually use Noodle to check a persons credit history or is it the case Lenders check all Experian, Equifax & Noodle.

The reason I ask is that after obtaining my credit report from Noodle, I see 2 Lenders have carried out searches and I have 3 accounts listed, compared to Experian and Equifax whereby I have several accounts listed and no recent searches.

How does a Lender get a true representation from Noodle when they are not given all of your history accounts.

Its a way to create revenue. If you have 'behaved badly' you will be punished by being charged more in interest. That makes sense doesn't it? Charge someone who is less likely to be able to manage a higher payment a higher payment. I lived in sweden for 3 years and a lot of what is said about Sweden is hype but they dont have this nonsense. Anyone is able to borrow money at the same rate, if you balls up, people dont lend you money any more. Dont balls up. Some people shouldnt be able to borrow money, the same people tend to get in debt over and over again. I'm one of them. People fall over backwards to lend me money. Luckily in the scheme of things my overspending is not significant, relatively. There is no way i would ever have been lax with credit agreements in Sweden. Its immediately a serious position to be in. In the UK its like spilling a cup of tea. And they know it.

For them to search all would that not leave a footprint on all reports, how do they determine which CRA to leave the footprint on.

Well it would seem more Lenders are leaving the footprint on noodle which is unfair in my opinion as the search stays on file for 24 months and not 12 months like Experian and Equifax.

Try hovering your cursor over the AR and see if it comes up with an explanation.
