Why do I find myself always chasing up wins!!

I had to send another email to chase up an outstanding C2W from April.
I emailed some weeks ago and received no response, so I have tried again...0 -
Follow up on my post yesterday:
Received a phone call this morning about my missing Clarabella mug and bag from the Take a Break C2W- from April.
Was told that the prize was no longer available- in fact it had finished in September! But had run again and picked a winner- me.
So I'm being sent a £50 e-voucher (the value of the mug and bag prize) for use on the website, and I could use it on anything on the site.
So I said thank you.
Hope everyone else chasing their prizes gets a positive result.0 -
Time was when that was what usually happened if there was a prob, now some of them seem to begrudge you the prize.0

My hubby won a xbox prize from a xbox fanzine type site three months ago, been chasing it and chasing it as he was giving away 26 prizes altogether that he had got donated from various gaming and other such sites for his site launch (Games, controllers, t-shirts etc..)
Well after nagging them on twitter (as i see other winners had too) he finally emailed my husband back to say
"Im skint and cant afford to send out the prizes, sorry" I hope I can sometime in the future but dont know when"
This is disgusting as he already had the 26 prizes from assorted companies as he used a main picture showing the 26 prizes he had to give away. Looks to me he just managed to get 26 very nice freebies from assorted companies as he dont seem to be sending them to anyone.:A0 -
I should take that straight to the ASA and Trading Standards,0
