Sky have just sent me a letter announcing they are putting my family pack sub up by a quid a month. Not a lot but I'm annoyed as I only renewed last month!
For some time we have considered upgrading to a 2TB box but it seems Sky want £150 to do this!
Hans anyone successfully negotiated a cheaper Sky+ box upgrade on the basis that their subscription has gone up?

I tried to but was told the same price as you.0

I see no logic in even attempting such a "negotiation". If they gave you a discount on a new box, then it would pretty much swallow the price increase they've imposed. Hardly a profitable move for Sky. You have to pay the price increase regardless, so why would you be offered a discount purely on that basis?Hans anyone successfully negotiated a cheaper Sky+ box upgrade on the basis that their subscription has gone up?
Get a second hand decoder from E-Bay etc.0

The time to negotiate for a cheaper box would have been before you renewed, not after.0
