I have recently received a letter form private eye parking in Carlisle whilst visiting from Scotland for a payment of £60 rising to £100 if not paid within 14 days.
I was wondering if i just ignore it or if theres something else i should do??
Thanks.

If you mean Parking Eye?
You should read the Newbies Sticky carefully but if you live in Scotland, you will almost certainly be able to ignore this as they can't easily raise an action against you.0 -
That Ian Hislops got a lot to answer for.
unless you mean Parking eye.
Take a look at the sticky thread, as this occurred in England your better off complaining about it and then getting it cancelled. try the landowner and parking eye. From the Plain Language Commission:

I'm not the most computer savvy so i'm unsure of a sticky thread and the phone number for parking eye is automated.0 -

Parking eye have dropped the claim against me as there evidence was quite clearly a joke.
On closer inspection of the photograph of the car leaving the car park, it was just of the number plate and didn't show the actual car. Also the signs clearly states that it is free parking between 9pm and 7am and so after arriving at 8.20pm i had paid enough to cover the 40mins till the free parking starts.0 -
