lunch is potato shapes or pasta with sauce/fish fingers/burger type things in here or sandwich fingers and salad.. tomatoes and cucumber and carrot and celery. Sometimes they have pancakes or waffles. they always have fruit or yoghurt or cake for dessert. scrambled egg with bacon and peppers and chicken is another fave but I make daddy cook that.

What about freezing a portion of your tea when it's suitable (like tonight's cottage pie) so that he can have it another day. Or do extra mash and mix it up with a bit of cheese or something for flavour.

I've worked in nurseries and fed 9 months old their lunches along side the older children (12-18mths). The 9 month olds get exactly the same food as the toddlers, just blended to a consistency they can handle, as they get older the more lumpy it is. They have even has salad blended!
They get all sorts for lunch, such as chicken, meatballs, pasta, potato, veg, beans etc... They might have a few finger foods with their food, such as bread, or some bits of pasta.
It sounds gross, and looks gross having it blended but the flavours will be the same!
