I'm new to this forum but wanted some advice is it possible to pay off
my endownment shortfall ( £5000 ) with a credit card and then balance transfer to a 0% card ?
Or is that classed as a money transfer ?

Who exactly do you want to pay? Your mortgage lender?
Do they accept credit cards? If they do, it would probably be counted as cash.
But once you BT (assuming you can) it's just another balance.0 -
Has your mortgage provider not written to you with options for clearing the shortfall?
Would those be better than credit card?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
