Car insurance and Blue Badge holders.

Today my partner has received the higher rate mobility which means he can apply for a blue badge.
Ive looked at our car insurance documents (Im the main driver and he is down as 2nd driver) and I cant see anything about the blue badge. I assume its something we have to tell the insurance even though I cant find anything about it is the booklet or on the policy.
Does anyone have experience of this and if so could you answer the following please-
Will the cost of insurance go up because he has the badge?
As our insurance is due for renewal in 4 weeks am I better hanging on to get a renewal quote rather than telling them now and paying an admin fee to have the current policy altered?
Thank you for reading

No requirement to inform the insurer simply because you have a blue badge.
The only two times disability/ health has to be informed to the insurer is (1) if you have the car modified for the disability in which case these modificaitons must be declared and their value included in the cars value and (2) if you develop a condition that must be notified to the DVLA from a driving license perspective
Presumably this isnt anything new and so 1 nor 2 applies in which case there is nothing to inform the insurer of0 -
Thank you very much for that reply. I must admit I hadn't thought about it when he applied for the DLA but had a sudden panic and was worried about void insurance and the like but I couldn't find anything on the insurance documents.
Thank you for putting my mind at rest.0
