Guitar Pedal Board

It's all so complicated these days! I still rely on a Jen KPS 900 phase shifter, Shaftesbury Duo Fuzz and Vox Wah Wah - all are solid built and still working after 30 years!!!
Forgot to say that mine are all screwed into a piece of marine ply with rubber underlay to cushion underneath - all run off a 9v transformer - very cheap but does the job!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0 -

Indeed and we can be sure the Behringer pedals wont last close to so long, or sound remotely as good. My Boss overdrive and chorus, which I bought about 20 years ago are still going strong.
As to the pedal board, I'm sure you'll find plenty of home made examples described on the internet. Such as:

The fx100 has all the chorus and flanger etc built in.
I would suggest that he keeps that, and that you spend the money on a decent wah pedal and some sort of overdrive pedal/dist pedal, and a powerbank.
Depending on the type of music he plays that might be enough. As for the board, a piece of mdf covered in velcro material will be ok.
So
MDF and Covering £10 Max
Powerbank (powers 5 pedals) £20 (Maplins)
Wah (Crybabay) £60
Overdrive (digitech bad monkey) £35
Money well spent IMHO the overdrive pedal could be swapped for a fuzz or distortion depending on the style of music he plays.
If you want any more advice drop me a message.0 -
No not that but............actually this looks better than the maplin one:
