What about mounting the phone on a windscreen cradle? Perhaps also connecting the phone audio jack to the AUX input? (Although this may mute/disable the phone mic).0 -

I've had a Pioneer head unit with BT built-in. Worked very well, subject to where the mic was put by the fitter.0

I highly recommend the Jabra Cruiser2. Great call quality, connect two phones at once, built in FM transmitter.
When driving I choose to have my work phone paired to this rather than the built in car system as the quality is that much better.
