My local college have been something like this for years. There's a part of the carpark designated for college minibuses only and anyone who leaves their car there runs the risk of having a dayglo orange sign superglued to their windscreen. At one time it was quite common to see battered old Vauxhall Nova's driving round town with half scraped off sheets of paper still on display but it's becoming a less common sight so perhaps it actually works as a deterrent.

I think putting them on the windscreen is a no no on H&S grounds, which is why anyone with a brain cell intact puts them on a side window.

Saying that when I was employed at Clydebank shopping centre early 90s a woman first parked in a disabled space then when told that was not allowed parked on a footway (which we found out when the mother of a profoundly physically disabled teenage boy came to say she could not get around it with his wheelchair, the bouncers from the pub/restaurant, the stewards from the cinema and the security team from the shopping mall, carried him in his chair shoulder high all the way into the cinema - much to his amusement).

We then proceeded to cover every bit of glass, and all the lights on her car with stickers, the police were not in the least bit interested when she called them to report us and told her she was lucky not to be done for obstruction.

Bonus it started to rain while she began to remove them.

I had forgotten that until this thread.
