Can anyone advise an alternative formula for following Bissell cleaner ??
http://uk.bissell.com/Products/p/quicksteamer+plus/product.aspx
One of the warning on the Bissell user guide says the formula that contains lemon can damage the machine (Yeah).
I just looked at the cheap Vax formula and the one of the content shows up as Limonene (whatever is means).
Is this formula safe touse in the Bissell machine ??
I'vetried the Vax formula with hand and it does leave some sticky resedue even though it say it doesn't.
Any advise ??

cant advise on the bissel. but i have a Vax carpet cleaner and have used other cleaning formula in it, currently using rug doctor, hasn't done it any harm
i can't see bissel making and producing their own formula but i may be wrong0 -
Bissell do make their own formulas and they are not cheap.0

i stand corrected lol.
i just thought maybe the different formulas for different cleaners are made in the same factory and branded under different names.
the Vax formula is also expensive. where have you seen a cheaper Vax formula for sale? i could do with buying some before long0 -
