Ours took just under four weeks, genuinely had no issues, our broker was really happy with the rate deal they offered. I would recommend to anyone, in my experience they were there when we needed them and have had no problems whatsoever. We brought a repo house too and daily phone calls from our broker got the paperwork through and the deal done with two days to spare.

When did aldermore get the last documents/valuation from you?

They currently have a 12 working day backlog from that date.

Theyre massively behind at the minute. So they have someone checking everything is in and then the next stage is everything gets signed off and an offer comes through.

I dont think you will get an offer until around tuesday-thursday next week.

You dont need to be in the country. You will get the offer through and it will go to your solicitors. Assuming you have completed the paperwork your solicitor sent you then they can start the work.

Just speak to your solicitors, ask them if they have everything they need to start their job once the offer comes through.

Dont forget, if they pull out for you they have to put the property back on the market, wait for viewings, offers, negotiations, valuations etc just to get back to the point you are at now - so they will most likely give you some leniency.

Speak to your solicitors, once the offer comes through they will be able to do their checks without you there. Sign your contract subject to any questions you/they raise and they can complete whilst your away.

The trick is to just be prepared, you will be fine.
