are HIPS coming in on August 1st?

Does anyone have any up to date info on HIPS? are they coming in for 4 bed or more from August 1st?
Im hoping that they do so that the huge amount of property on the market placed to beat HIPS might dwindle and therefore give me a better chance of selling quickly
If it is put back again I fear there will be an even bigger stock of homes for sale reducing every sellers chances of a quick sale.

I work for a hips providers, and although for a good while things have looked quite shaky ( a few weeks ago I would have been v surprised if they came in and was browsing for another job) Now, im much more confident that they are coming in.
From speaking to the agents who are coming with us, they have said that they are not really seeing much surge in selling before the 1 August, and that the general public at large seem to have forgotten they are happening.
We shall see.:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Hi there, When there are 2000 or more Energy/Home Inspectors spread out geographically to cover the whole of the UK. To date there are around 1700 qualified and another 3,500 on there way it's a guess but I recon Sept 01 will be the date for 3 beds and Oct 01 for the rest.0
