Credit file clearance

Hi All,
I have just passed the six years from my Bankruptcy and have checked with Call Credit and it states that there is one default for a Bank Account.
It was with Smile which is part of the Cooperative Bank which I have a Cash Account with.
The Last entry they have is 19/08/2008 although I was officially made Bankrupt on 08/07/2008 and hadnt used the account before that date.
Do I contest this, or wait until after the 19/08/2014 to see if it drops of my record.
This is the only thing that appears to be outstanding, and my credit rating according the Call Credit is 2/5 which I know is not great but I have not credit card apart from Vanquis one which I have never used but does show on my credit report.
I am a little concerned as my account I use is with Co-operative and if I request a deletion, it could affect my account, which is perfect over the last six years.
Many thanks
Matt

Personally I'd wait as it's not long but if you can't then yes dispute it. Everything from the BR should be gone.0

Have you checked your credit files with the other 2 agencies as well? If not I would do so.
If there are old debts still showing / defaults later than your bankruptcy date then this thread will help you Credit Reference File Clean Up Post Bankruptcy
(but if this is the only item then it may be easier just to wait a further month for it to drop off your file)A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
