TSB Classic Plus question

Looking for an answer to a query I have, and I'm sorry if it's an obvious one.

The terms for the TSB Classic Plus current account say that it doesn't pay interest on balances over £2000. So I've been wondering, if my balance on the account were to be over £2000, would I not receive any interest at all as I've exceeded it, or would I simply receive interest on the £2000 but nothing over?

Again, apologies if this is obvious, but it didn't seem that way to me and I want to be sure before I start moving money around.

Thank you for any help.

If you had £2001, for example, you'd receive interest on the £2000 but not the £1.

I was hoping that would be the case.

That's great, thank you very much for the help :)
