Hello,
Iv'e read some of the different stories on here but
Couldn't find something similar to mine.
Basically i've had 3 tickets arrive on the same day. The dates were
Over 2 weeks ago so i'm already out of the lowered fine.
So there is a new*ish* Asda where I live - a lot of staff at my
Office parked in the car park that is connected to Asda but everyone thought that it wasnt their land. So a few weeks ago they put up signs
When entering the main car park that it is a 2 hour stay - but as I didn't enter the main car park I didn't think this applied, and it didn't. For weeks ive parked there on occasion and didn't get a single ticket. Now I get 3 in one day. I have contested it and stated that there was insufficient signage. How long do they take to get back to you? Its really worrying me ad it would be £210.
Thanks

1) complain to asda, the manager can cancel them
2) it may take a few weeks to get rejection, but you just go to POPLA with a template linked from the newbie thread and get it defeated. They have to reply within 35 days.
You will not have to pay Not So Smart Parking.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0 -
Can I go straight to POPLA? Or wait for Smart parking to reply?
Thanks for your advice! I was so shocked to get 3 over the weekend!0 -

not without a valid 10 digit popla code from the PPC
if you have one, - yes go to popla
if you dont have one - no chance until you do have one from SMART0 -
You won't need POPLA if you send the template appeal (from the NEWBIES sticky thread) online to Smart, so follow up your last 'appeal' with the template one. Smart cancel EVERY time they see it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

You have to wait for smart to reply. If they reject appeal, they should send you a POPLA code. This is all explained in the Newbie thread.
But follow C-M's advice above this. Thank You! I did follow the letter from the Newbie thread. Hopefully this will be enough. It's a lot of information to take in and I'm not the best with these things. Thanks for taking the time to help. Means a lot.0
