Notice to Owner but no PCN

Hi, I've had a wee look on the other posts but can't seem to find an answer so was wondering if someone could give me a bit of advice.

A couple of months ago I parked my car on the side of the road but didn't realise my back wheel was over a yellow line - the lines had recently been added to the street and I was on my way home from nightshift so wasn't completely awake!

When I came back to my car a couple of days later I had 2 PCNs on my windscreen which I paid straightaway. I've recently received 3 Notice to Owner letters for tickets other than the ones I had already paid. There were no PCNs for these tickets on my car so they've either blown away or been removed from the windscreen.

My car was parked there for less than 48 hours and 5 tickets seems a little OTT. Do I have grounds for appeal given that I never received the PCNs and have already paid 2 tickets?

Really grateful for any help/advice!

Thanks,

Cat

It's a shame you paid two of them as you should have only considered paying ONE as the car had not been moved in between. You could even have tried appealing BOTH tickets with pepipoo forum's help and may have paid nothing at all:

Anyway, that's the place for you to post and show one of the NTO letters in full (all pages) in your first post. And a picture of where you parked would also be good.

You only have 28 days to appeal formally to the NTO so do not miss the deadline as you will find the wheels of Council enforcement just move on after that and the penalty increases - as far as bailiff enforcement for silly money if you don't act.

If you appeal, it doesn't increase and pepipoo should be able to help you to get these cancelled.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
