Hi Guys
Ive decided i want to get a better cc for use overseas so i have looked at the halifax or post office one
i currently have a morgage with halifax (in married name) but i am in the process of reverting back to my maiden name after my divorce ... so far i have only applied for a new driving licence ?
do you think i would be better applying now before i change banks and stuff over or waiting a while (i go away in october)
ive just paid my od off and 1 cc off :T but i still have one cc with a balance which i am working down
what do you guys think ??
any advice would be great
Thanks Lisa

On the basis you havent changed anything else if you do it in your new name it will most likely fail online KYC checks and you will simply be asked to provide your proof of ID and proof of Address.
If you get your mortgage changed first then the internal checks may pickup you are an existing customer and so avoid the need for KYC
Neither way will be a problem as long as you have something in addition to your driving license as proof of address0 -
I'd apply in your married name, then when it comes through change all of your accounts with Halifax to your maiden name once the checks have been accepted and you have your card
