"Indexed Stock" equivalent

For the last 10 years I've held (as part of an "advised" portfolio started in 2004) an investment of £10k in Scottish Widows "Indexed Stock".
I'm now in the process of revising that portfolio to reduce management charges, and this one is currently at an AMC of 1.5%.
Hence looking for a roughly equivalent investment with lower charges. Would the following make sense?
Sell: Scottish Widows Indexed Stock (SW06)
Buy: Vanguard UK Inflation-linked Gilt Index (MEC5)
I should add that I'm not too concerned about having something that's ~precisely~ equivalent - I just want something to maintain or increase slightly the (rather lightweight at the moment) gilts side of the portfolio.

The new fund seems to fit your requirements (gilts exposure & low cost) so it makes sense."If you will change, everything will change for you." - Jim Rohn
