So if you get 'the call' you will be waiting from Monday through to Friday for them to knock on your door and reveal your prize. Of course, they will save the £30k til Friday, so you should be praying that you have to wait around until Friday.

Is that how it works? I was assuming that you would get a call from the TV presenter live during the program, they would say "Morning! You've won five grand!" and then a few seconds later there would be a knock at your door. You make it sound as if you think you'll get a call a day or two before to say that you've won... that's not my understanding. However, I could well be wrong - I often am! :rotfl:
Thanks to all who post constructively.

When ITV were running these competitions several years ago, Keith Chegwin used to land on the winner's doorstep, complete with full camera crew!

I think I would prefer the phone call!

I've just measured up and there is only just room for the postie on my doorstep, definitely not a full camera crew. Plus if anyone knocks I call out the kitchen window to ask who it is - unless they are wearing Postie's red jacket.
But for a chance of £1,000 minimum I'm in! ;)

'This prize draw is time critical and the winning entrants will be called three times in a two-hour daytime period after 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday 23 July 2014 on the phone numbers provided.'

So you will be called on the 23rd to say you are one of the ten winners but you will not be told which amount. They will get all your contact details ask where you will be available ie work/home whatever in that week and then they will just turn up. If they don't come and you get a call unlucky you only win £1k - well not unlucky but you know what I mean. So even if they haven't come by the Friday you could win either the top or the bottom - Mon to Thur will probably be the £5k ones

Sorry to bump, but I think they must have changed the timings slightly. I was just thinking how they can start calling winners from 9.30 am on 23rd when the comp entry deadline is 12pm on 23rd.

I went to the comp page and it now reads 'The closing date for online entries is Wednesday 23rd July 2014 at 09.30am.' and the T&Cs say the same.
