Next VIP slots summer sale

I always pay mine in full every month and have a slot. I even made a complaint recently because I paid the account and forgot the 99p just paying the pounds bit. They charged me £37 in interest. They said the interest was on the full amount not just what was owing (99p). Obviously I was miffed and did make a fuss. I will never owe them anything interest chargeable again as I was unaware of their policy. Anyway whoever understands the method they use for giving out VIP slots is a genius and could rule the world. There never seems to be a set rule.0

That's standard for any store card/credit card. If you don't pay the full balance, you'll be charged interest on the whole lot. It's not a next policy, it's how revolving credit works..
That's not their fault in this case, it was yours.0 -
I don't do credit - if I can't afford it I don't buy it hence being shocked by £37 interest on 99p. No wonder people get in a mess using credit cards/store cards.0

Indeed.
Credit has it's place, for section 75 for one and it's a valuable asset to have. Or for example hire car holds, or foreign petrol station pre auths.
You've got to be balanced with it though. But yeah, say you owe £500 on an interest baring card/store card, whatever. Pay off £450. You'll be charged interest on the full £500 the following month. Then the following month interest on £50 if you only pay £25, etc.0 -
I've never had a debt with them, the only thing I have done differently this season is to pay on my Next card for all
Instore purchases. I have first slot 5pm0 -
First time in years I've not had a slot.

I only get the Directory to get a slot because I was told no directory = no slot.
Now they charge for 4 directories a year I may just stop them and order when the sale is on for everyone.
Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.0 -
The sale is rubbish when it goes live. Never much left. I've got a £5k credit limit and once again I'll be spending nothing as they don't blooming give me chance!0

Do they usually send out a second lot of invites if so when do they normally do it. So frustrating that ive met all of the criteria for years but never had one0

I always pay my account off monthly without fail.
Last month in anticipation of the sale, I left a balance of approx. £60 to roll over to this month. Lo and behold I got a first slot.
I usually get a slot, but not the first one.
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -

I opt not to receive a copy of the directory, can't see the point as it is all online. I still usually get a slot every time.0
