Sorry to sound stupid, but can someone help with this query? I'd like to change from my current internet provider (Orange) because it now seems too expensive(£17.99 per month for broadband only) and I quite fancy the Sky package for TV, telephone and broadband.
My question is this:- if I change internet providers do I keep the same email addresses or does this have to change too? I currently have one Outlook Express email address but also two others which are accessed through the Orange homepage! To be honest I use these two only for Tesco home shopping (in order to maximize my ClubCard points!!;)) but would like to know about this before I set the wheels in motion to change.
I'm really not very savvy about this kind of thing and would appreciate any advice!! Thanks!

Any email address' you have from your ISP like the Orange ones will be lost, some allow you to keep them but not many.
If you have any hotmail and Gmail accounts they will be fine, its just your Orange one, which I would suspect your outlook one may be as well.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
You will most likely lose your ISP provided email address, you say you use Outlook so do you have a pop3 address if so this will still be ok to access via Outlook although you may need to alter your outgoing server settings...
Why don't you make a Hotmail or GMail address as these will always be accessible no matter how many times you change you ISP..

Make sure sky have the free broadband package in your area. I went for the sky option and was told it wasn't available in my area however they could offer me direct broadband for £19.99 a month aswell as charging me for TV too. Also is your 12 month orange broadband contract up? As they may still charge you for finishing you contract early with them.Don't listen to the bad things about Vista its the best
Just because it's free don't mean it's good
Ditch Norton Now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wall:
Just Because you read it some where don't mean it's right

I left Orange BB in December when I migrated to Sky.
I can still access my old orange e-mail account via outlook express, and if I wish send mails as well.
All you need to do is change the OE outgoing mail server to smtp.newisp.com or similar.
You can also setup multiple accounts within g-mail which will do the same thing. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
