Appeal PCN?

Hi
Looking for any views as to whether its worth my while appealing against a £60 parking ticket I got in Glasgow on Friday?
I was only going to stop for 10 mins, and the rate in the area is 20p for 30 minutes - but the machines in Glasgow don't take 10ps, and I didn't have any other change.
I just popped into the shop for 2 minutes for change, and I can back to a ticket!
Before I went into the shop I actually looked for a traffic warden, to try to explain, so I'm not sure where he popped up from!
On one hand I feel there is no point, because he was right - I was technically parked without a ticket.
But on the other hand I feel like its not unthinkable for someone not to have change, and he could at least given me 5 minutes.
Any advice appreciated.

Read the newbies thread for information about Scotland before you do anything silly. It really doesn't matter who the PPC is in your case!
I assume yu mean parking operator, not traffic warden ( as in council )Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0 -
It was Glasgow City Council0

Don't read the NEWBIES thread as that's about private tickets. Post instead on pepipoo forum with photos of the PCN (BOTH sides):It was Glasgow City Council

Most cases there are won in the end but 'going for change' is actually not allowed so the posters at pepipoo would need to help you find other angles.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Yup - Take this straight over to Pepipoo.
