Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Open to UK, CI, IoM and RoI residents only.
1.2 All employees and the immediate families of either VisitScotland (“Promoter”), or its agents or Partners, or Golfbreaks.com, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.
1.3 To participate entrants must aged 18 years or over.
1.4 Limit one (1) entry per person.
1.5 This promotion closes at midnight on 15.08.14 for receipt of all entries.
1.6 Winners must hold an official golf handicap of 24 (men) / 36 (women) or below. Proof of handicap will be required to play on certain courses.
HOW TO ENTER
2.1 To enter, simply log on and register your details. All entrants must have a valid email address. Alternatively send your full name, address, postcode and email address to: [FREEPOST RSXA-KYC-GLGE, VisitScotland/Golf Monthly 2013/14, Glasgow, G14 0SZ. Please state ‘no communication’ if you do not wish to receive further communication from the Promoter and the prize provider associated with this prize.
2.2 Proof of either online submission of entry, or postage will not constitute proof of receipt or delivery. Receipt of entries will not be acknowledged.
2.3 The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries or any claims as a result of being lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, or because of technical failures or otherwise, including such failure which is within the control of the Promoter or its agencies.
2.4 The Promoter reserves the right to require the winner(s) to provide proof of identity, age and residency, as the Promoter may deem necessary. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion. Ryder Cup ticket winners will be required to have their name published and may need to supply a photo and ID.
2.5 Any other attempted form of entry is prohibited. Third party entries, or those made online using bulk methods such as the use of automated devices, processes, or syndicated entries are not allowed, and all such entries will be disqualified. Entrants who purposefully do not give correct details in order to manipulate the promotion will be disqualified. You may not disable, hack or overcome any of our online systems or security features.
DRAW
3.1 One winner and 10 runner ups will be selected from all eligible entries received by the closing date, 15.08.14. The draw will be conducted randomly within 28 days of the closing date. By entering the prize draw, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the prize draw. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions will result in the forfeiture of the prize.
PRIZES
4.1a One (1) winner will receive the main prize. The prize comprises:
· 4night stay (luxury apartment or 4star hotel) in 2 double room/twin room for 4 adults on a B&B basis within approx one hour stay of Gleneagles.


· 4 x 1 day general access tickets to the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.
· 3 x 18 holes for 4 people at 3 different courses in Scotland - 1 including a round at the Turnberry Resort. 1 round will be played in a competition format against other winners with the chance to win golf prizes plus trophy to the value £1000.
· 4 x Goodie Bag worth £500.

• The main prize includes £400 travel allowance for the group of 4 adults. The Travel allowance will only be reimbursed upon the presentation of invoices/receipts in support of allowable expenditure. The maximum amount of Travel Allowance payable will be at the Promoter’s discretion, and in any event will not exceed £400.
4.1b 10 runners up will receive a pair of 1 day general access tickets to the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.
4.2 The prize is subject to availability, and will need to be redeemed at fixed times around the 2014 Ryder Cup. Exact dates will be confirmed at winner announcement but are non transferable.
4.3 The prize is as stated and is non-transferable, non refundable and cannot be sold on. No cash or other alternative is available (in whole or in part), except that in the event of circumstances outside its control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar prize of equal or greater value.
4.4 The prize does not include any travel insurance, or any other meals or related living expenses. All travel, activities, and accommodation are at the winner’s and travel companion’s risk. Transportation to and from the departure point, taxes, fuel surcharge, meals, gratuities, travel upgrades or any other expenses not specifically listed in these Terms and Conditions are the responsibility of the winner.
4.5 Winner(s) and travel companion(s) must travel together, departing from and returning to the same location at the same time and on the same itinerary. The travel companion must be aged 18 years or over, unless the winner is their parent or legal guardian or has the written permission of their parent or legal guardian. The Promoter is not liable for delays, cancellations or unforeseen events related to any travel arrangements.
4.6 Winner(s) and travel companion(s) will be solely responsible for obtaining valid identification and compliance with all travel and health requirements (i.e. passports driving licences) relating to the acceptance and use of the prize package(s). The Promoter will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates.
4.7 If the winner is unable to use the prize by the date specified at Condition 4.2 the prize will be forfeited. All activities, travel and accommodation are subject to availability, weather conditions, and are subject to the individual prize provider’s standard terms and conditions, which can be found by contacting each prize provider as specified above at Condition 4.1.
