Vet recommendation Bridgend

My Dalmatian, Jon, is registered with Shepherds Veterinary Practice in Bridgend. Not had an issue with them other than finding them quite expensive historically.

Any alternative recommendations would be appreciated in the Bridgend area?

Ah, I was going to mention Shepherds, as that's who we use.

I tried Maes Glas off Church Acre in Brackla yesterday. I think they might be marginally less expensive but it's the first time Jon had been nervous in a vets! He's all fun and games in Shepherds! Still, good to have an alternative

I'm not from the area but have met some of the Maes Glas staff at rescue fundraisers and they have all been very nice. I did need an appointment while spending a week at the coast so went to them, it wasn't an emergency as such but also couldn't wait until we got home a few days later. They were very helpful, called up my vet to get details of ongoing treatment sent over and then sent details of treatment back to my vet for a follow up the next week.
