I have been on the phone half of the afternoon regarding this car accident to my insurance (not my fault and he admitted liability) , now they want to use there car body shop and hire car.
Car Bodyshop from my insurance has been intouch with me and have pictures of damage.
Now the person that hit my car his car insurance has just been on the phone and they want to deal with it all, i dont know what to do, never been in this situation before.
Any advice please? as i have to ring them back

Do you mean the other driver wants to sort it out without insurance companies? Or that his insurance want you to use their bodyshop and hire car??

No prudential have just been on the phone and they want to use there own car body shop and the hire company they use to keep costss down he said

You have to fill correct details for hd and cc though if instore yes use any old email addy and address

the only real thing I use for cc and hd is the email address

You can put absolutely anything in the boxes for HD/CC. I use -

Name = 1
Address = 2
Address = 3
PC = XX1 1XX or any combination in the same format.

Oh I see....I think. Are prudential his company, I take it?

I'm no insurance expert but I'm not sure your insurance would agree to that anyway? Any time Ive had a claim, Ive had to use whatever services the insurance company provide.
As for keeping costs down, the only people who will benefit there are his insurance company. They sure as heck won't pass the savings on to him and it doesn't affect you financially.

If it was me personally, I'd say no and that I'd rather have repairs done through my own company

Yes and this is where she has been capped i believe, surely for hd you have to use your real address otherwise you would not get shopping:D
