I'll take your word for it

The funniest thing is (not funny funny, strange funny) is that the message wasn't from someone I know very well. That became clear to me when they mentioned they knew I had 2 cats........both of whom have died in the last few months!!! :o

When Dad explains that type of funny he says ' Funny peculiar not funny ha ha'.:)

But you do feed a stray cat so maybe messenger got confused.

I could be wrong Savvy but most anti-depressants (and my OH has tried them all!!) take a little time to work. You need a few weeks of taking them to get the desired effect. Maybe a visit to your GP to discuss? If you are prone to depression, you will have re-lapses. It's normal and if you need another course of tablets.....so what? if it sorts you out, it's worth it.

At least think about it :)

No thank you - I do too much thinking!:rotfl::rotfl:

I don't feel a visit to GP appropriate, but then I know my own situation. (Don't feel there is much they could do - except say I need to be on anti-depressants long-term and constantly, which I don't feel would do any good. I'm normally getting along fine without tablets at the moment - had a long, good, consistent period - I'm off them, not having much problem with that.)

They 'probably' would need time to kick in - but I suppose there is a placebo effect which, for my own mind-sake, is more useful/even the sole reason here. (Just assessing it logically, from the outside, now.)

Again, it's a unique situation - that suits me. I'm not advising (I can't give any advice to anyone, on anything, ever anyway) anyone to copy it.
